Unique Emergency Management Planning Considerations :: Webcast

October 8, 2008

colorDownload A PDF Brochure

Overview:

Disasters like Hurricane Katrina and the Virginia Tech tragedy have emphasized the importance of being prepared for emergencies with an updated emergency management plan. Having an all-hazards emergency management plan that meets the minimal requirements is not enough, especially for institutions with unique planning considerations - like childcare facilities, arenas, and stadiums. Plans must also address special considerations like evacuating disabled students.

This web conference will encourage creative thinking to plan for specific emergency situations and will focus on taking existing plans to a level where they cover a multitude of specific scenarios and facilities.

About this Conference:

Building security managers face a daily challenge balancing safety with aesthetics.
