About this Conference:
Building security managers face a daily challenge balancing safety with aesthetics. The Building Security for Managers Conference will provide you with hands-on, practical approaches and innovative methods to maintain high levels of building security through cooperation with municipal fire and police departments, tenants, visitors and contractors Large high rise towers, especially those with transient traffic, must maintain rigid security practices while keeping the environment friendly and appealing. While the terrorist attacks of 9/11 brought building life safety procedures clearly into focus, it is the everyday security procedures that keep tenants and visitors confident.
The Building Security for Managers Conference, directed at Security Management responsible for populated space, will address issues such as physical barrier security, social barrier procedures and threats from within the tenant population. Life Safety procedures including fire drills, shelter in place conditions and medical emergencies will be presented by industry and first-responder experts. Physical infrastructure protection (water, HVAC, sanitation, electricity and communication systems) will be discussed by sector experts.
